Just like many folks in this age of economic uncertainty, I have found myself eschewing the glorious aisles of the purveyors of the retail industry.  I've got a limited budget and try to frequent establishments that pride themselves on reselling that which has already been sold once or twice (or dozens of times).  Yep, I've been going to the used bookstore, the thrift shops, flea markets, and the like.

Now, don't get me wrong.  I go to the regular old grocery store and not the scratch and dent places.  Not that there's anything wrong with discount groceries.  It's just that when it comes to food...well, I want fairly good stuff.

I'm a book nut and a music connoisseur.  So, for books, movies, CD's (yep, I still use the CD), and records, I almost exclusively hit the used market.  The purpose of this little site will be to give reviews of what I find...be it good, bad, or awful.  Sure, most items on here will have "professional" reviews out there on the internets somewhere.  Many of the reviews will be much better than mine.  However, I will be honest.  I will be truthful.  I will be brutal, if need be.

This is where the gems of the bargain bin (and the not-so-gemlike) will get their due recognition.
